Multi-Surface Peroxide Cleaner & Degreaser

An ultra-concentrated, NSF-registered industrial cleaner and degreaser. Removes dirt, grease and grime; removes smoke, pet and athletic odors; leaves surfaces squeaky clean.

What is SIMIX?

SIMIX Ceramic Clearcoat is a permanent, hygroscopic, non film-forming, super-hard liquid glass that will never yellow, chip, peel or crack. Just like in glass, the primary ingredient in SIMIX is silica (sand). That is mixed with potassium and lithium, which are very conductive. SIMIX conducts heat. It is not an insulator, like all other coil coating products on the market today. SIMIX coating improves airflow from 16%–26%, pulling more heat from the fins and tubes, which in turn reduces run time.

The science

What SPOT-ON™ technology actually does

Sustainable Photocatalytic Oxidation Technology (SPOT-ON™) is the titanium dioxide built into both SIMIX products. Titanium dioxide is a safe, naturally occurring compound that reflects natural and artificial light.

As that light is reflected, it converts water vapor in the air into a radical form of hydrogen peroxide — often called the atmosphere's own "detergent." That reaction breaks down greenhouse gases, airborne allergens, germs, viruses, mold and foul odors, and generates fresher air.

The clearcoat is also hygroscopic: it continually attracts and adsorbs water molecules from the air to the surface. That evaporative-cooling process draws heat from the coil and enhances the SPOT-ON reaction at the same time.

A permanent, high-pH surface is inherently harder for mold, bacteria and viruses to colonize than a neutral-pH one.

Why microscopic gaps matter

Expansion and contraction open tiny gaps between fins and tubes. Salt and airborne pollution settle in, corroding the metal and blocking airflow.

Conducts, not insulates

Silica mixed with potassium and lithium is conductive. SIMIX pulls heat away from the surface instead of trapping it the way film-forming coatings do.

Permanent, not film-forming

It bonds to the surface rather than sitting on top of it as a film, so it will not yellow, chip, peel or crack the way conventional coatings do over time.
